Mexican Marriage Laws
The Government of Mexico requires the following documentation:
- Valid Passports
- Divorce, adoption, widowed or name change decrees with the Apostille seal (if applicable)
- Tourist cards (provided by customs upon your arrival to Cancun International Airport)
- Blood tests done in Mexico (to determine blood type, HIV and STD)
- Medical Certificate issued by a Mexican Doctor
- 4 Witnesses (18 or older with passport and tourist card)
An APOSTILLE is simply the seal of the Secretary of State Notary Public of the State in accordance with the Hague Convention, which means that the documents can be used officially in a foreign country.
